COVID 19 information - 27th January 2022 update

We are aware of the lifting of the Plan B restrictictions on 27th January 2022 but we still need to act cautiously in view of the current high number of infections.  The omicron variant of the virus is highly transmissable and our staff, clients and other visitors to our office may be contagious without knowing it. We are therefore continuing to keep control measures in place for the time being, but will of course keep them under review.

This is for the protection of both our clients and staff.

When visiting our office please continue to wear a face covering (unless you are medically exempt).

Control measures

We have a reduced staff in the office with many colleagues working either full or part time from home. Our switchboard is manned and calls can be put through to staff in the normal manner, even if they are working from home, so please continue to use our normal number 01332 348484

Our reception is available, by prior appointment, for short tasks, such as bringing in ID or other papers  and witnessing documents, which can be completed in less than 15 minutes.

Our preference remains for longer meetings to be carried out remotely, either by telephone, Zoom, Microsoft teams or similar.
  In the cases where a face to face meeting is agreed special arrangements will be put in place depending on the circumstances.

Please be aware the reception door is  kept locked and you will be admitted by our receptionist only if you have an appointment and when no other person is present.  If you arrive and reception is occupied please wait outside at least 2 metres away from our entrance steps until it becomes clear.  When in reception please observe social distancing guidelines and wear a face covering.

Please do not attempt to call in to reception if you do not have a prior appointment.

In any event do not enter reception if any of the following apply to you:-

  • If you are in the self-isolation period following a positive test result;
  • If you have been advised to self-isolate;
  • If you have had any of the known symptoms within the last fourteen days;
  •  If you have been in contact with anyone – family, friends or workmates –  who has had the known symptoms within the last ten days; or
  • If you have returned from any area considered at high risk, within the last fourteen days.
